To take the most advantage out of these experiences, there are nourishment as well as the liberation fee for every turtle one want’s to sponsor.
There are many Sea Turtle Egg Farms in El Salvador’s coastline for example in beaches like Los Cobanos, La Paz, San Luis Talpa, Amatecampo, El Pimental, San Blas and Zunangera; the area of the Lempa river’s delta and in islands like Monte Cristo and Tasajera.
On average, 12,000 Sea Turtles are freed every year in El Salvador. The Egg laying seasons starts in May and its peak occurs during August and September. The Liberation season, on the other hand, starts in July and it lasts until the last weeks of February; its peak happens during October and November.
The most common species of Sea Turtles in El Salvador are Golfina, Carey, Prieta and Baule. These projects are supported by USAID, the participation of municipalities, the communities and different NGOs.

Una de las etapas más esperadas del Circuito Latinoamericano de Surf por su calidad de olas y el excelente clima. El Salvador Impresionante, será la séptima fecha del Tour, el cual se llevará a cabo del 26 al 28 de Septiembre en Punta Roca, La Libertad.

¿Cómo llegar a Punta Roca?
Si estás en San Salvador, un opción para ir hasta Punta Roca es tomar el BUS 140 en la terminal de Oriente. Cuesta entre $0.60 y $0.75. Y lo lleva hasta el Puerto de la Libertad. Importante, este bus se toma afuera de la terminal, por la gasolinera. Del Puerto, hay que llegar a Punta Roca y será fácil ir preguntando.
La otra opción es tomar un taxi, pero es mejor tomar un taxi que no esté en un centro comercial porque son más caros. Los taxis hasta allá le cobrarían entre $25 y $35 dependiendo de donde lo tomen.
